Our Impact

Funding Bold, Transformative Initiatives.

A sample of the organizations we have supported share some of their impact:

True North

True North students volunteered 325 hours of community service over the past year, with over 150 hours committed to food security initiatives, where students helped at three regional food bank distributions throughout the pandemic. In addition to our previous college scholars receiving ongoing financial aid and support, we were able to award six additional college scholarships to 2020 graduates from Telluride, Norwood, and Nucla high schools.

Ridgway Chautauqua Society

In 2021, the Ridgway Chautauqua Society was able to program and activate 1032 program "use days" (or unique uses) in either the Sherbino, the 610 Arts Collective, The Courtyard at 610 or at off-site partner locations.

Oregon Native American Chamber

Funds from the Todd W. Hoffman Foundation supported seven Native American students seeking higher education.

Angel Baskets, Inc.

We increased the proportion of fresh local food delivered through the food pantry by approximately 80 percent during the growing season.

"Funding from the Todd W. Hoffman Foundation allowed San Miguel Resource Center to maintain a staff of 9 advocates, program coordinators, and leadership staff, maintain walk-in offices in Telluride, Norwood and Naturita, and provide over 60 clients with emergency funding for therapy, legal assistance, housing, transportation and basic needs."
